COVID-19 Safety Plan
As per our studio’s policy, masks are strongly recommended but not required.
Class sizes will be capped to provide space for physical distancing.
A combination of open windows and fans will be used to maximize air turnover in the studio.
Dancers will remain as distanced as space allows. Some styles of Irish dance including ceili and figure dancing require closer physical contact.
If a dancer is sick, has a fever, has been exposed to a person diagnosed with COVID-19, or is in quarantine based on state guidelines, they should not attend in-person class.
As per studio rules, parents/guardians will be asked not to enter the building in order to avoid overcrowding. Dancers may wait on the second floor landing at pickup until a parent is at the street level door. Exceptions may be made for very young or new dancers when needed.
Dancers should arrive no more than 15 minutes before their class time.
All dancers MUST bring a full reusable water bottle to class. Consider wearing layers as well, since windows will be open.
We have set up a digital storefront to allow for online payment and registration. If you prefer to pay by check or in installments, please contact Gerlisa for alternate arrangements.
If it is determined by the Garrett School or by Contemporary Dance and Fitness Studios that in-studio classes are unsafe, we will pivot to online classes and notify you immediately via email.
We have made every effort to plan a safe environment for dancing this session based on current state and federal guidance. Please be aware that this guidance changes rapidly and that we reserve the right to change or alter our plans as necessary.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility during this challenging time!
